The main scope of activities of the Bureau of Architecture and Design is design and construction of the individual residential houses and renovation of the already existing structures. Most of the ready-made plans are suitable for introduction of changes and various kinds of additions.

Construction of a house begins with a plan

Construction of a house always begins with the overall design. You can choose from more than 250 ready-made plans of houses of different types. The catalogue of designs allows you to choose the design of the house by selecting the options that suit you best. You can search through the catalogue by such criteria as the house area, the number of floors (one-story houses, two-story houses), by the type of the house (a single family house, row houses, etc.) and by other criteria.

All of the ready-made designs have been developed in Latvia by the SOLAR HOUSE, the Bureau of Architecture and Design; these plans are ideally suitable for construction on the territory of Latvia. The design and engineering of the houses take into account the specific requirements of the Building Code of the LR, presence of the construction materials on the territory of Latvia and peculiarities of the climate.

Custom Design & Drafting.

While the custom designing of houses can be done by introduction of changes to the existing plans, which is possible for most of the ready made plans present in the catalogue, it can also be done by creation of the entirely new designs from the very beginning according to your own requirements and wishes.

The SOLAR HOUSE, the Bureau of Architecture and Design also offers designing of any other kinds of structures. We offer designing of the multi-apartment houses, office centers, trade centers, production facilities, warehouses, car parkings, and other types of structures.

Additional services of the bureau

The Bureau also offers a full range of services connected with design and construction of housing. We can arrange for getting the applicable permits from the correspondent authorities, development of the architectural and engineering designs, design of the utilities and communications networks, development of the general plan, the architect’s follow-on and engineering supervision, 3d visualization of the projects, topography and geological investigations.

Restoration and renovation of buildings

A separate direction of activities of the Bureau is restoration and renovation of houses. We develop designs and receive permits for re-planning and modernization of the existing houses.
